Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ARK Veterinary Rehabilitation (“ARK”), 7D Crane Road, Singapore 429356, handles personal data in the ARK Learning Center at learn.arkvetrehab.com. The Learning Center is operated from Singapore and is available to learners worldwide. Questions and requests go to our data protection contact at support@arkvetrehab.com.
ARK Learning Center uses Shopify Customer Accounts for sign-in and Shopify Checkout with Appstle for recurring billing. The Learning Center stores only the account identifiers, membership status, course progress, viewing sessions, dated learning activity, achievements and quiz results required to provide the academy experience. Payment-card information remains with Shopify and its payment providers.
Prices in your local currency
To show membership prices and take payment in your local currency, the Learning Center looks up the country of your IP address when you open the membership page or start checkout. Only the country is used; the IP address is not stored for this purpose. If your country cannot be determined, prices are shown in Singapore dollars. Learning records and ranking
Every Learning Center learner is included in the overall ranking under an automatically assigned alias or a nickname they choose. A chosen nickname and avatar are public alongside points and achievement totals. Do not include contact details or private information in your nickname. There are no public learner profiles. Your private dashboard and authorized ARK administrators can access your learning records. The registration date records your first Learning Center sign-in captured by this system.
Certificate QR links provide public authenticity checks showing the certificate holder, course, issue date and validity. They do not expose your learning history, account or billing information. Verification pages are excluded from search indexing.
Your learning preferences
Personalising your Learning Center is required after sign-in: choose a nickname, avatar, learning interests and broad information about the pets you learn for. Answers are stored separately in Supabase and are visible to you and authorised ARK administrators, not the public ranking. They organise learning suggestions and do not prescribe treatment or grant course access. After confirmation, students can change their nickname and avatar but cannot edit their answers in the interface. Contact ARK if your saved information needs correction. Your certificate name is kept separate from your nickname.
Service providers we share data with
ARK does not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. These providers process data on ARK's behalf so the Learning Center can work:

Where your data is stored
The Learning Center database is hosted in Singapore. Shopify, Appstle, Mux, Vimeo, Microsoft and Google may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where data leaves Singapore, ARK relies on these providers' contractual and security commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.
How long we keep it
Learning records are kept while your account is active so your progress and certificates stay available. You can ask ARK to delete or anonymise your Learning Center records at any time. Order and billing records are kept by Shopify and ARK for as long as accounting law requires, and issued certificates may remain verifiable unless you ask us to withdraw them.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent, or have your Learning Center records deleted by writing to support@arkvetrehab.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as data portability or objecting to processing, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
The Learning Center is designed for adult pet owners and is not directed at children. Memberships may only be purchased by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies support secure sign-in, member sessions and core academy features. They are required for the Learning Center to work, are always on and cannot be switched off in the cookie notice.
Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics are optional. Their scripts are not loaded unless you allow analytics cookies in the cookie notice. You can reject them without losing access to the Learning Center and can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing consent removes their cookies from this site. When this cookie list changes, the notice asks for your choice again.

Sign-in and checkout take place on Shopify pages, which set their own cookies under Shopify's privacy policy. Microsoft and Google may set further cookies on their own domains when analytics is allowed; their cookie notices describe those. Fonts are served from learn.arkvetrehab.com itself, so no font provider receives your visit.
Marketing emails
The Learning Center itself does not send marketing email. If you opt in to ARK news at Shopify checkout, every such email includes an unsubscribe link and you can unsubscribe at any time. Account, receipt and subscription-renewal emails are service messages and are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
